I'm currently working on an off-site for one of my enterprise clients, 220 people coming in from over 11 airports. This isn't a customer event, this is an internal event and this is exactly what I was talking about last week. Bringing in the same room your entire company, giving your leadership the opportunity to talk about the goals and direction of the company for the next year and not only that, celebrate the wins of last year and maybe most importantly will be for your team to meet those colleagues that they had endless calls over projects in person. There is something powerful about that. When you only have known a person through the screen and you finally meet them in person, everything is going to change, your relationship will be different forever. So internal off-sites are to build relationships and share directions. Maybe this can be your cultural label.
