In one of my videos I was talking about the story behind the events and I was mentioning that markets are moving faster than ever and most of the companies aren't built in the same city, they are built across borders. You'll have team members in Singapore, Amsterdam, New York, London, different time zones, different cultures, different ways of working and somehow they are expected to build true working relationships and collaborate via Slack and Google meets and other platforms. Here is what I've seen. Distributed teams can be aligned on the paper but they cannot be synchronized unless they are in the same room at least once or twice a year. When you bring your team members in the same room communications gets better, you will build trust, projects will move faster. So let me ask you, when last time you brought your team in the same room?
